1 package wild rice
½ cup white cooking wine
¼ cup water
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tbsp cornstarch
4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 tbsp Italian seasonings
1 tbsp olive oil
Prepare rice according to package instructions. In a small bowl whisk wine, water, garlic and cornstarch until well blended. Set aside. Rub chicken with Italian seasonings. In medium skillet, heat oil and cook chicken for 5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink inside. Add wine sauce mix. Simmer 10 – 15 minutes or until sauce thickens and is bubbly. Server over prepared rice.
